How long does a concrete driveway take?
Most residential driveways run three to five working days — tear-out and base prep, forming and rebar, the pour, then finishing and cure. Weather and site access can shift the schedule.
Can you pour concrete in the fall or winter in Thunder Bay?
Yes. Late-season pours use heated mix, blankets and hoarding when needed. Some jobs are better held to spring, and we will tell you straight which one yours is.
Do you remove the old concrete?
We do. Breakout, haul-away and disposal can be included in your quote — just let us know what is there now.
How long before I can walk or drive on it?
Foot traffic is usually fine after 24 to 48 hours. Wait about seven days before parking a vehicle on a new driveway or pad.
Do I need a permit?
Replacing a driveway or pad in the same footprint usually does not need one. Foundations, additions and anything structural do. We help sort out what your project needs.
What affects the price of my job?
Square footage, slab thickness, removal of existing concrete, site access for trucks, base and drainage work, reinforcement and the finish you choose.
