Questions
Slabs, pads & floors — straight answers.
How thick should a garage pad be?
Four inches handles cars; we go five to six inches with heavier reinforcement for trucks, hoists or heavy storage.
Can you prep for in-floor heat?
Yes. We can place insulation and let your heating contractor tie down tubing before we pour.
How long does a pad or floor take?
Most residential slabs are three to four working days including excavation, base and forming.
Do you pour basement floors in existing homes?
We do, when access allows. We prep the sub-base, place a vapour barrier and finish smooth for flooring.
How soon can I park on a new pad?
Foot traffic after a day or two, vehicles after roughly seven days.
