Questions
Steps & landings — straight answers.
Can you fix settling or cracked steps instead of replacing them?
Sometimes. If the footing is sound we can repair, but steps pulling away from the house usually mean a failed base and a rebuild is the honest fix.
How long do concrete steps take?
Typically two to four working days including the footing, forming, pour and stripping.
Do steps need a permit in Thunder Bay?
Replacing steps in the same footprint usually does not, but changes in height, guards or structure can. We help sort out what your project needs.
Can railings be added later?
Yes. Tell us at quote time and we will set anchors or leave the treads ready for core-drilled posts.
